Started in 2003 at Spa Gregories, Newport Beach, CA, Greet The Day's spa-based program continues today.

We have learned a lot about the misconceptions, challenges and rewards about survivor-safe spa services for people with cancer or a cancer history. That is what this website is about.

Greet The Day is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides research-based therapies for cancer patients, adult and pediatric, from time of their initial treatments and throughout their cancer journey. Service programs are provided at no charge to the recipient, and are offered at spas and at twelve cancer treatment centers.

Offering integrative care programs in inpatient, outpatient and spa settings Greet The Day has made a significant and positive difference in the lives of more than 11,000 people living with cancer.

Greet The Day also offers accredited post-graduate education for a multidisciplinary team of licensed massage therapists, estheticians, and registered nurses.

Started in 2003 Greet The Day's first ever program was a spa-based program. That program continues today and we have learned a lot about the misconceptions, challenges and rewards about survivor safety spa practices for people with cancer or a cancer history. That is what this website is about.

"Procedures such as lymph node biopsy, surgery and radiation can create a life long lymphedema risk.

Please request an oncology-trained therapist for your next massage, facial or nail care spa service."

Because my lymph nodes were in the field of radiation I will always be at risk for developing lymphedema.

Lymphedema risk lasts a lifetime and my oncology-trained therapist was able to safely modify my spa service to meet my needs and personal preferences.

Please make sure you only work with an oncology-trained therapist for your massage, facial, or nail care spa service if you have or are at risk for lymphdema too.
